Forest Wedding Photographer – Amanda & Kegan at the Trivium

Amanda & Kegan. Est. May 18, 2013.

I was so excited to shoot this wedding. Amanda is the sweetest girl you’ve ever met. It’s not hard to see why Kegan loves her so much. After I shot her bridal session, I absolutely couldn’t wait for her wedding day!

The day of the wedding was dark, cloudy and rainy. It drizzled non-stop all day, but Amanda was all smiles! She could not have cared less about the weather! She was just so happy it was her wedding day and in a few short hours, she’d be married to the man of her dreams. Below are some favorite shots from her perfect day.

I might have gone overboard with flower pictures. They were just so beautiful, I couldn’t help myself!

Finally in the dress and looking like an angel!

I wish I had a behind-the-scenes shot of this. The owner of the Trivium, Heidi, was kind enough to hold an umbrella over me, while holding her own. Thank you, Heidi! It was raining, dresses are getting wet, their hair was falling and make-up was getting smudged. But who cares?! Amanda was getting married and that’s all the mattered! Plus, we had plenty of time for touch ups so no worries.

No idea what’s going on here. But I love it!

Praying before the ceremony. I ADORE this shot.

Now this image is my absolute favorite. They didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, but they wanted to ‘be together’ and pray. This is becoming pretty popular among brides and grooms. Not quite a first look, but still just as special! Amanda was already in position behind the wall and Kegan was downstairs. If his eyes were open to walk up the stairs, he would have seen her. So I took his hands and walked backward, leading him up the stairs while his mom stood behind him, making sure he didn’t fall. With his eyes still closed, I placed him in his spot. I took Amanda’s hand and his, and put them together. You could FEEL the electricity between them. It was a really special moment, both for me and for them.

Seeing his bride for the first time.

They chose to take communion together during the ceremony. Love this idea.

Amanda’s reaction after the pastor proclaimed them husband and wife.

You may kiss the bride!

Her table settings at the reception were SO cute! She had love quotes from movies in these adorable frames at each table. What a cool idea!

Love that cake… which they promptly shoved in each other’s faces!

And there was much dancing.

Sometimes you go above the regular duties of a photographer… and fix the bride’s garter.

And they’re off!

Amanda & Kegan – I can’t thank you two enough for making me apart of your special day. I enjoyed every minute of capturing it! I’m absolutely in love with these images and I hope you are too! Kegan, this girl is a rare jewel… take care of her!

Forest Bridal Photographer – Amanda at the Trivium

This is Amanda… I know, I know… pick your jaw up off the floor. This girl is so beautiful. It’s completely unfair for anyone to look like her. Sorry boys! As of May 18th, she’s off the market! I’ve been DYING to blog these images. The entire time we were shooting I was telling her how gorgeous she was. She probably thinks I’m a creepy stalker but hey at least she has some fabulous pictures.  Here are some favorites!

Every time she’d laugh really hard, her nose would crinkle. Adorable.

Are you kidding me right now?

Central Virginia Photographer – New Packaging!

I decided to redo my packaging (again). I feel like this represents my style a lot better. I love the rustic, vintage look and I needed to pull it all together with the way my website looks + the packaging my clients receive when they purchase the USB Flash Drive.

This is what I came up with.

New USBs from my friends at USB Memory Direct. I chose the dark walnut wood USBs and had my current logo stamped in white. I love how they turned out. Customer service is awesome! Thank you for all your help, Marina!

What photographer isn’t obsessed with vintage prints? When clients book a premium session or a wedding, they’ll get several small prints (from my Fuji Instax camera). How fun is that!

I love what I’ve come up with. I feel like it totally encompasses my creative style and me as a photographer!

USBs - USB Memory Direct
Mailing Boxes - First Packaging of Chicago
Crinkle Paper - Bags and Bows
“Thank you for sharing…” stamp: Corina Nielsen
Burlap bags & lavender – Save on Crafts

The prints are from my Fuji Instax camera.

Everything else… I got at Michael’s. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to answer!:)
